Unshelved comic strip for 6/2/2003

Library Girl

Enjoy the newest member of the fraternity of library comics: Library Girl! It's a Flash animation, not a strip, but it's good clean fun. Highly recommended.

What I did on my summer vacation I: Philadelphia

We stayed in Philadelphia for a week but I hardly saw any of it because we were in class the whole time (more about that later). Sara's mom Tyler watched our son Theo during the day. We were in the Chestnut Hill area, which is very beautiful and has great food. We stayed across the street from the local public library and I thought about stopping by, but our class hours conflicted almost perfectly with their hours of operation. Besides, I'm shy. What am I going to say, "Hi, I'm the Bill Barnes of Unshelved fame?" I don't think so.

Up to Date

As of right now we have sent out every book ordered. Book rate is slow, so it might still take a week or more, but if you've sent us money or (shudder) a purchase order they your book is on the way! We're still figuring out the ins and outs of the publishing business. I have a lot of software to write before our fulfillment process is as smoothly running as I'd like. But we're getting there.
