National Novel Writing Month

Is anyone else pretty intrigued by the idea of writing a novel in one month? After all, I wrote and drew a comic book in 24 hours. How much harder could it be? And I could even sleep. For more info visit the NaNoWriMo website.

The Norm Pledge Drive

Over at our friends The Norm their groundbreaking pledge drive is nearing its end. With just a week to go they have nearly 1500 subscribers, but need 4000 to get back on the air. For those who aren't following, The Norm was a newspaper strip syndicated in about 80 papers. That wasn't really enough to make it worth the hassle, so author Michael Jantze just quit. But his lovely wife Nicole made a deal with him - if she could get 4000 people to subscribe he would start drawing again, this time just for the web.

If you're a Norm fan, there's no reason to wait. Go over there and subscribe. The world needs Norm.
