Unshelved comic strip for 12/21/2004

I have tentatively scheduled Saturday January 8th as the date of the Third Annual Bill's Birthday Movie Marathon. On that day I will go to the movies, watching as many movies as I can fit in, and you're invited! The past two years I've spend the day in downtown Seattle, commuting back and forth between the Meridian and Pacific Place. The first year I managed five movies, but last year I could only arrange four. This year I'm going to push hard for five again, because there's something very special about the kind of sore a butt gets when it watches that many movies in a theatre. It's a noble sort of soreness. Anyway, reserve the day in your calendar now! I'll announce the final location and lineup a few days before. You don't need to join me for all of them, but you owe it to yourself to stop by for one or two.

P.S. My actual birthday is January 13th. I'll spend that day in the air, en route to Boston for ALA midwinter.
