Unshelved comic strip for 3/28/2005

Today's strip was my first spit take. I'm so proud.

We got a piece of mail this weekend from our reader complaining about the last week's grocery sequence saying, in effect, "go back to the library." She listed some of the strips she liked best, and they were all firmly about the library. Our answer closely follows the answer we've given a lot recently - our strip is about the characters. Sometimes the library is in the foreground, sometimes in the background, and once in a rare while (and it really will be rare) it's off panel entirely. But just like real life, everyone goes back to the library.
