The Rise of RSS

Because of our two recent Book Club strips we have gotten a lot of traffic from the websites of authors Orson Scott Card and Neil Gaiman. Thanks, guys! But a funny thing - our email delivery signup rate is only slightly higher. Are all those people really just bouncing right off our site? A quick look at some statistic shows otherwise. Our RSS feed has just taken off. It's still not as popular as our email delivery, but the trend numbers show that it will be by early next year. Especially since many people are transferring from email to RSS.

I have to admit it - I'm not yet a feed person. I've dabbled, but so far it hasn't been love. I'm waiting for that thing that will switch me over.

In related news I've been toying with the idea of a weekly (or even monthly) podcast from Gene and I. I don't know what we'd talk about. Comics, probably. We're reputed to be pretty funny together. I just don't know when we'd do it.
