My friends and fellow Seattle-based cartoonists Scott and Georgia Ball have done something very gutsy. They took a good look at their two-year-old webcomic Scooter and Ferrett and decided that the most interesting character was neither Scooter nor Ferrett, but rather a self-centered woman named Maridee (no I don't know how to pronounce it either). So they rebooted the strip, sent Scooter and Ferret away, and renamed it Ask Maridee. Maridee was my favorite character too, so I think this is a promising (re)start. I'll be keeping an eye on it, and you may wish to as well.
