Every year Random House, Inc., which happens to be this week's sponsor, publishes a magazine called RHI for teachers and librarians. Each issue centers on a major topic. This year's is censorship and banned books, with contributions by Ray Bradbury, Maya Angelou, Judy Blume, Pat Conroy, and, as it happens, us. Yes, in their infinite wisdom the editors asked if we'd be willing to contribute a custom Unshelved comic strip on the subject of censorship, and so we did. Hint: we're against it. The magazine is just coming out now, in time to celebrate Banned Books Week next month.
RHI Magazine is free for teachers and librarians. To request a copy for yourself, just email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, position, and the mailing address of your school or library. Let 'em know we sent you!
