I hung out some with the Radical folks at the Miami Book Fair earlier this month and they are good folk. More importantly, they gave me a copy of Caliber and I read it on the airplane home. I truly enjoyed it. There's a bit of a fad of retelling the Arthurian legend in different settings, but that's because it's a good story. This one, cleverly set in the old West, really succeeds. The plot moves along with plenty of action, the writing is crisp and the painted art is just gorgeous.

I don't gush about every book sponsored on our site, but this one is worth some gushing.
