It's a sign of just how big a fanboy I am that hosting a Buffy the Vampire Slayer sponsorship makes me feel a little like Joss Whedon and I are best friends. 'Cause you know, we totally are.

Anyway, longtime Unshelved readers know that I am a huge fan of all the great man's work, beginning with Buffy. It went off the air a few years back, but Joss decided to continue the series in comic book form. He even called it Season 8. The third volume Wolves at the Gate (Adobe Reader required) is out now. It features Buffy in a team-up with Dracula, written by Buffy scribe Drew Goddard (along with an interlude written by Joss). Gene and I both read it the other day and agreed that the dialog really popped in a way that made us jealous and bitter. You'll love it.
