Unshelved strip for 5/17/2009

Crash Tested

So there I was, just putting the finishing touches on the covers of all the magazines in today's book club of Charlie Haas' excellent The Enthusiast, when Photoshop crashed on me. It was only about 30 minutes of work, but it was a lot of detail and originality that I don't have in me to replicate at this very minute. So rather than delay today's strip further, I'm pushing my most recent unfinished backup out now and I promise to go back and fix it up later.

Random House Summer Reading List

Thanks to this week's sponsor Random House, Inc., who published a nice Summer Reading List with twenty titles for high school students, categorized with reading levels.
