Unshelved comic strip for 5/7/2009

New Shirt #1: Today is a good day... to READ

Three things about this design:

  1. Gene thought of the joke, I thought of the picture, and Paul Southworth took my scribbles and made them sing.
  2. We've already learned that you'll either immediately get this, or you never will. No shame either way.
  3. As an experiment we're taking orders for standard sizes XS-4XL for a flat price of $17.95. Free shipping in the U.S for all orders over $40.

New Shirt #2: Intellectual Freedom Fighter

This is either a bold statement about banned books or else a very immodest claim on the part of a guy carrying an AK47. Or both. It's distressed white stencil on a faded red star. But that red star is composed of a list of the most banned-books in the United States and elsewhere. So don't buy it if you don't think you'd like people walking up to you, staring intently at your chest, and saying "those are good ones!"

Now taking orders for standard ($17.95) and junior women ($19.50) sizes. Free shipping in the U.S. for all orders over $40.

New Shirt #3: read to me

This is exactly what it looks like. At first I thought this was just going to be a kid's shirt (our first in several years) but after talking to several people I became convinced that it was generally desirable. I hope I am proved correct.

Now taking orders for standard ($17.95), junior women ($19.50), and kid's ($14.95) styles. Free shipping in the U.S. for all orders over $40.
