Book: The Sequel

My separated-at-birth-brother-from-another-mother Lance Fensterman, who runs Book Expo America, New York Comic Con, and probably a garden show or something, is all excited about an experiment going on at BEA later this month:

Perseus Books will be creating a book – from beginning to end -- at BookExpo America this year. The book is “Book: The Sequel” and will be designed, edited, published, promoted, and sold live from BEA’s show floor with all the proceeds going to the National Book Foundation. What’s more the book will be published in every format – print, eBook, audio and maybe even telepathically!

The plot of Book: The Sequel will be a collection of the first sentences of made-up sequels to famous books. And you can submit your own sentences to be considered for the project.

Submit your first sentence (and sequel title) here.
