Angela Melick

Today's glorious take on Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan comes courtesy of our friend, the awesome Angela Melick. Angela is an engineer by trade, and her take on her education, work, and life is detailed weekly in Wasted Talent. So dedicated is she to her craft that when it came time to published her first collection We are the Engineers she actually redrew the strips. On behalf of lazy cartoonists everywhere, I mock and/or bow to her.

Leviathan alternate strip

In this vein, one treatment of this book apparently wasn't enough, so Angela drew two. The second, more concise version (thumbnail above) can be found on her site.
