Unshelved comic strip for 10/12/2011

Basher Science and Math

Basher Biology

It's hard not to be charmed by Simon Basher's illustrations of the concepts of science and mathematics. Each of them is turned into an adorable cartoon character full of personality, adjoining informative and engaging text by several different authors. It's the sort of thing that I usually scoff at, but it really does work.

Check out the full line of Basher Books, published by this week's first-time sponsor Kingfisher. You can even thumb through the books online, and they're giving away free books!
