Upcoming Events

We’ve recently added a number of talks to our calendar for the Summer and Fall:

  • I will be speaking about poetry (very little) and comics (a lot) at the Redmond Association of the Spoken Word (RASP) Reading Series 6:30pm on Friday, June 19, in room 206 of the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center on 16600 NE 80th St. There’s also an open mic poetry event that will take place before and after I speak. The entire event is free and open to the public.
  • Bill will be giving his program Cartooning in the Digital Age in Las Vegas twice this month. On June 28 at 2pm at the Clark County Library, and on June 29 at 6pm at the Sahara West Library. Free to the public.
  • On August 6 Bill will give the same program at the Illinois Institute of Art. Sorry, IIA students and staff only.
  • On August 7 we’ll speak to the staff of the Three Rivers Public Library in Coal City, IL
  • We will be keynoting GACOMO in Athens, GA on October 8
  • Then we jump in an airplane and keynote OLC in Cincinnati, OH the next day, October 9
  • Just a few days later we’ll speak to the staff of the Redwood City, CA Public Library on October 12
  • And finally we’re keynoting the Michigan Library Association in Novi, MI on October 28

As always, you can find a comprehensive schedule of our comings and goings on our talks & appearances page.

P.S. Bill will be making his way from Las Vegas to San Diego in early July, and then up the West coast, ending up back home in Seattle on September 2. If you’d like him to speak at your library along the way, drop him a line!
