The 2008 All Pikes Peak Reads book selections were The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck and The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan. We chose to create a jalopy in honor of all the displaced migratory peoples from the most significant ecological disaster the world has yet seen.
