Pimp My Bookcart 2010 : Book Truck Logging Truck

The logging truck was designed, created, and built by the Kamiah High School Welding and Agriculutral Construction classes. Kamiah, Idaho is a small community in the heart of the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. It is a community with strong historical and economic ties to the logging industry. The logging truck represents a part of the creation cycle of a book, from tree to paper to pages of a book.

This wowed us with it’s amazing finish and the way it expressed its community’s ties to the logging industry. They will have to use a log splitter to divvy up their prize, a $50 gift certificate to the Unshelved Store.
