I'm back from beautiful and friendly Toronto, home of ALA-CLA 2003. It's hard to imagine a more successful conference for us. Every day our table was swamped almost from start to finish. I met hundreds of fans and made hundreds of new ones. We sold almost everything we brought to sell and gave away everything we brought to give away. 113 fans got their picture taken with Life-Sized Dewey. The weather was perfect, the people were friendly, and I even managed to catch a Blue Jays game at the SkyDome. Special thanks to friends Emily, Jessamyn, and Beth, who spelled me at the table so I could walk around the exhibits some myself, and a very special thanks to my hostess Maggie Weaver and her husband Keith who put me up at their beautiful house, fed me, and drove me and my boxes of goods to the conference. As hosts they went above and beyond the call of duty and I couldn't have done it without them.
