My family and I just returned from beautiful Deception Pass State Park on the northernmost tip of Whidbey Island. We played on the beach, cooked marshmallows and other nutritious foodstuffs, and generally just relaxed with some friends. I had a big dad moment - taking the training wheels off Theo's bike and starting him down the path to self-sufficiency. It's only a matter of time before he gets his own apartment now. I hope.
