Want new comics about libraries? Read Library Comic!
Unshelved comic strip for 9/21/2005

Welcome Readers

I probably ought to note the fact that earlier this week we signed up our eleven thousandth email recipient. That's pretty amazing, especially since we continue to get more and more RSS traffic. I think our new Sunday Unshelved Book Club strips are opening us up to a new untapped audience which I like to call "readers". Welcome, readers! We are readers too, and we're glad to have you along for the ride.

Update: We purged almost 500 emails from our list - these are the ones that have been repeatedly bouncing for various reasons. So for the present we're a little under 11,000 again.

Copy and Paste

Usually I eschew copy-and-paste cartooning, but it has a place. And that place is when I want people to focus on the differences between panels. For some reason this week's strips are rich with these differences, so I just went crazy.

Oh yes, there is one more time when copy-and-paste has a place. And that is when I am spending most of my week travelling, and hardly have any time to draw. Which is the case right now. But seriously, I wouldn't do it if I didn't think it worked.
