Today is the last day of ALA Midwinter. It's been a very successful conference in many ways. We sold a lot of stuff, cought up with a lot of fans, met some new and interesting people, discussed some business opportunities, and maybe booked a speaking gig or two. Except for the first night San Antonio failed to be either warm or dry, which was disappointing.
Meanwhile you may have noticed today's strip isn't up yet. That's because it exists only in my head, thanks to that bad back thing. The good news is my back is feeling much better and I'll get that strip up late tonight or early tomorrow, at which point a regular schedule shall resume itself.
Special props go out to David Heiligmann and Beth Reiten who brought all our goods to the booth and set it up, respectively. Starr Hoffman brought her trademark caffeine-fueled energy to being our pit bull Saturday morning, handing out flyers and bringing in customers. And of course my buddy Gene manhandled his work schedule to come down and help me out. Thanks, everyone.
