Unshelved comic strip for 10/30/2006

Overheard in the Library

This week's sequence features a new (fictional) blog by Merv called "Overheard in the Library". It is inspired primarily by Overheard in New York, but I'm aware that there are also many similar overheard-in-the-library blogs around. For the record, we're not talking about them. His is definitely, well, his.

Tell 'Em What You're Gonna Tell 'Em

The last two talks of the Unshelved Fall Speaking Tour are this week. Thursday we're at the Seattle Public Library staff day, and Saturday we're in Saratoga Springs, NY for the New York Library Association conference. We're looking forward to meeting fans and hearing the worst thing you ever found in a book drop, and of course we'll be selling and signing our books. Then I'll be swinging through the D.C. area on Sunday and Monday to do some business for my day job. All these frequent flier miles better buy something good, that's all I've gotta say.
