This morning Gene and I had breakfast with Jorge Cham who makes the comic strip Piled Higher and Deeper. PHD is to grad students what Unshelved is to library workers, and it was fun to compare notes. We all fly around the country doing talks, we all self-publish, and we're all devastatingly handsome and intelligent. So we had a lot to talk about.
