Unshelved strip for 5/29/2006

Big in Canada

A flurry of new readers from Up North let us know that we got some press in the May 29th issue Maclean's Magazine. It's in the "Recommended" section on page 59. They say:

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE LIBRARY STAYS IN THE LIBRARY

Librarians aren't all technophobic spinsters with pencils holding up their buns. Capturing the I-want-to-smash-my-head-into-this-desk feeling that comes with dealing with the public, Unshelved, an online comic strip with a daily readership of 30,000, proves there's lots of humor in the stacks.

Well, really. I couldn't have said it better myself. Oh, and there's a nice image from our recent Robot Uprising Book Club. Viva les Canadiens!
