We were going to hold off showing it to you until we had time to do a full-fledged site redesign, but we decided to just go for it. So here, without further ado, is the new, official, Unshelved logo:

We're pleased as punch to announce the second annual Pimp My Bookcart contest. We were overwhelmed with the quantity and quality of entries last year, and this year we think it will only get better. Because this time it's sponsored by Highsmith, who will award the first and second prize winners with brand-new bookcarts, and gift certificates to the runners-up. And as a bonus prize, every entrant gets a 15%-off coupon good on any Highsmith, Upstart, or Upstart Books product.
For inspiration, Highsmith will be hosting last year's winner at their booth at ALA later this week. We timed the contest so that it ends after Teen Read Week, in case libraries, schools, or community centers wanted to use the contest as the basis for teen programming. And because it ends on Halloween we think there might be some seriously spooky entires.
