Chicago is one of those cities about which I had somehow, over the years, gotten a bad impression. But when Gene and I were there for ALA a few years ago we had a great time. So I'm pleased as punch that we're going to be speaking at the Illinois Library Association's 2008 Annual Conference in Chicago. We'll be the luncheon speakers at the Illinois Authors' Luncheon on Friday, September 26th.

If you've been contemplating inviting us to speak this fall, this would be an excellent time to do so. We only do so many events and our calendar is filling up rapidly!
