• The new Main Library is incredibly capacious, functional, and beautiful. I admit that I am not a fan of Seattle's main branch, and now, having seen J-town's, I am deeply jealous.
• The 400+ staff members who attended my keynote had an incredibly good sense of humor, i.e. they laughed at all of my jokes.
• Sushi dinner outside by the water in 70-degree weather doesn't suck.

In short, the 2008 Unshelved Spring Tour is off to a great start. Next stop: Houston, where I'm visiting with Strangers in Paradise's Terry and Robyn Moore. Go immediately to your local comic store and pick up the first issue of his new series Echo.
