Book Expo America 2009 is May 28-31 in my hometown of New York City. We're going to be there doing some really fun stuff, and we'd love it if you'd join us at our favorite library conference of the year!
Last month we asked you to register, only to discover that registration hadn't quite begun after all. Well they've promised up, down, left, and right that everything is ready. So ready, aim, Register!
My beautiful, clever, enthusiastic, daughter jumped into my arms Saturday morning and wacked the heck out of my right thumb, giving me a mild sprain. It's going to hurt to write and draw for a little while. So I'm giving myself a break by lettering Unshelved with a font until it's better. I found one I really like, I hope you like it too.
Our thanks to last week's sponsor Penguin Books, publisher of the #1 New York Times bestseller Three Cups of Tea. With editions for adults, young adults, and chidren, it's great for community reading programs.
