Question and Answer of the Week

Unshelved Answers logo

The Question of the Week was asked by Jennifer, who’s looking for an alternative to a sign that says “Reference and Information.” I’m a little disturbed that, as a profession, we haven’t standardized reference desk signage yet, but I’m also hoping to see some funny answers added.

The Answer of the Week was given by Sarah L, in response to Elsa’s request for help on how to find and get grants. To paraphrase her excellent and easy-to-understand advice: listen to other librarians, repeat the grant’s words back in the application, and explain explain explain.

Both winners get the signed Unshelved collection of their choice.

Visit Unshelved Answers if you’ve got questions or answers to share. And please vote up good questions and answers.
