Unshelved strip for 11/18/2011

Guest Strip by Ray Friesen plus Book Reviews

Unshelved Book Club

We were delighted to have Ray Friesen contribute this week's Unshelved Book Club strip of Terry Pratchett's Going Postal. Ray draws the webcomic (now a book) Pirate Penguin Vs. Ninja Chicken, which is almost perfectly self explanatory, as well as Cupcakes of Doom and more. He has a distinctive visual style and sense of humor that are well worth checking out!

Elsewhere in the Unshelved Book Club this week, chocolate and caffeine are illegal, cute kimonos, missed connections, foxes and badgers living together, a Mexican city under seige, devastating rats, the truth about Wikipedia, and a girl teaches a robot how to pretend.
