David Wellington is my favorite horror writer. Just finished his 4th vampire book, 23 Hours, and it was fabulous. It doesn't come out until June, but that gives you a few months to read the first three books in the series. The first, 13 Bullets, is availabe online for free (with a very cool trailer).
