Last week we returned home from Miami, the last stop of a record year of travel for me. Gene and Jana joined me more often than not, but as Unshelved's only full-time employee I bore the brunt of our travel calendar, spending almost three months of the year in one hotel room or another, speaking and/or exhibiting at library, book, and comic conferences all around the country.
You'd think I'd never leave home again, but the truth is I rather enjoy travel. So while we may moderate things a bit next year, the Unshelved road show will go on.
And so we're happy to announce two more 2009 appearances: We'll be exhibiting April 1-3 in Houston at the Texas Library Association annual conference, and we'll be speaking October 12 in Baltimore at the Enoch Pratt Free Library staff day.
P.S. I have now taken down the voluminous list of our 2008 appearances off our home page. It's time to move forward, after all.
