The Passage Contest Winners

Gene and I sifted through almost two hundred entries to our contest. The following ten were the ones that most filled our poetic hearts. Each wins a copy of The Passage signed by author Justin Cronin, supplied by Random House's Library department.

@how2whistle

one could be a garlic farmer
hoeing rows in body armor

@undeadrat

Crawl in a corner, have a good cry,
kiss my effing ass goodbye,

@jr_scally

Maximum daylight keeps me under cover
Six months on one pole, six months on the other

@clynn886

Stakes driven into hearts
Killer garlic scented farts

@mitchee3

When vampires come I won't be tarrying
I'll go consult a research librarian.

@ivyrash

Three good whacks
with my axe.

@katefitz (best Twilight reference)

when encountering wanna-be Edward Cullen
win his heart by acting sullen

Americans are unhealthy and obesity-stricken,
so convince the vampires to eat more chicken.

@kallan42
