Book Reviews and welcome Willow

Blog post header

This week’s Unshelved Book Club features books about WWII refugees fleeing the Russian advance, a boy with an unhappy pet lizard, an investigation into the murders of three children, Jim Woodring’s Frank, and an erotic novel set in a robotics-dominated Buffalo, NY.

And this week features the first Unshelved Book Club comic by Willow Payne. There are more Friday comics coming from Willow, and they’re all fantastic! Here’s what Willow has to say about herself:

I’m a cartoonist from Tampa, Florida. When I’m not busy drawing comics, you can usually find me in used bookstores buying heaps of graphic novels and fantasy paperbacks. Favorite authors include (but not limited to) Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Hunter. S Thompson, and Edgar Allan Poe. You can read my comics over at willow-payne.tumblr.com.
